A message from the Principal

Hello I am Mr Stockwell and I am proud to be the Executive Principal of Cottons Farm Primary Academy.

Since September 2018, our school has been on a journey of improvement and we are extremely pleased with how well the school is doing now.  Our massive strides forward were demonstrated in our latest KS2 results where we achieved above national average percentages.  In addition, our results improved quicker than any other school in Derby.

We pride ourselves on being a research informed school where we always striving to ensure what we do is the absolute best for our children.

We also seek to offer the very best pastoral care and support so that all our children can discover their incredible.  #Incredible is the vision we have for all our pupils to develop their character 10 ways which will help them be better citizens of the world.

The school is part of a high performing Trust - The Harmony Trust - and we enjoy working with partners from other schools to raise standards together.   One of the key initiates of the trust is READ ACHIEVE SUCCEED which you can find out more about on our home learning page.

Please do look around our website to find out more about what makes us incredible!

Best wishes

Mr Stockwell
